Dont kill'em

I heard of an incident which made me deeply saddened and frustrated over the state of social affairs in India.

The girl has two baby girls. Her husband wants to go for another pregnancy for the having a 'boy'. Before 3rd month they went for ultrasound scanning. They found that the baby is boy. Everything is great. Right!!!.

No... It is not. If it is not a boy their Plan-B is to go for an abortion!!! Here we are not talking about some village crowd. They are educated high caste town dwelling folks.

First that bastard(or bitch) OB/GYN doctor should not have revealed the sex of the fetus. It is illegal in our f**ing country. Like all great paper laws this is violated. Instead of giving in writing they tell orally. I also heard that many scanning centers run by money minded radiologists reveal sex for a good sum.

Second, these educated moron parents should be ashamed of their plan B. Whether they executed or not, they plotted a first degree murder.

Could not sleep for few hours... Next day I am OK. Like all old news...it is a stale news and I am adjusted well to the fact that in India (and world) value of life is nothing. It is another freaking nightmare I went through...

Is there anything I can do!! Please tell me!!!

It is very sad that educated folks do this. In some ways ( i cringe when i say this) aborting is better. There are a lot of cases where the girl child is abandoned or illtreated or other cruelties which make abortion very noble by comparison. I wish i knew what we could do.

You are right Sukumar. Unless we improve those
'accepted-as-norm' customs, there will be no freedom for woman. Treating woman as second degree citizens in the name of culture or family respect is a continues suppression.

Vamsi - Why is the woman agreeing to this abortion? Does she think she's inferior to men? That stupid bitch!

Unless women learn that they are equals, no change can happen.

Perhaps we can organize a sting operation on the clinic & out them to the cops. Or, write about it in the media. I've learned that in India, no action is taken unless there's a public outcry.

omg..... what are u ppl? what da heck u ppl did in your whole life for the country & for the people. Did anyone of you voted in the elections?? One fellow posts some dumb comments without knowing their condition and economic situation. Barkuda jaaa jaa ke dekh kaisey hoti hai life if your born in a poor family. my dear you are blessed i say you are blessed to born in a family which give you good food and clothes, and give u some education. Education is failed when it cant reform a person. Ur education is for paisa, no values. If you are really educated come to the scene and change their lives. Otherwise, just ...... dont abuse any person. Every human has his own problems.

@priyaraju, are u male/transexual?? How dare u abuse a women who doesnt know what is priyaraju. are you her mother/sis/daugter/friend/well wisher what are u? Its hightime ,madam please do some introspection . u are suffering from disorder and u are eager to throw ur own problems on others, in the name female chavunist

Blaming a system is easy and blaming others is very easy but forgetting your duties is freedom. isn’t It? Sitting in A.c rooms infront of lappies type what ever u get is very easy but bearing responsibility is the real job. well i wasted my time as well as urs. I know u ppl will be hurted. But my request to u ppl is dont blame anyone without knowing their plight. If a girl child is burden to parents then the fault lies in the system. what is this system? they are the system, you are the system, i am the system, politicians,police.... are the system. change comes from within

Anil...nobody is hurted. Why would we? What is your point? Support abortion if the baby is girl? Do you know in a big business town, being born in Brahmin family, what problems one might have if they have girl or boy. I see none major enough to plot a murder.

oh come on Hero...... thats wat iam pointing. U dont know anything. but u are going on with your sanskrit words about India and the couple. I told u, U ppl have no right to abuse them when u ppl didnt bore ur responsibilities, how come u abuse others. First, go n see their plight. Know what problems a girl, born in a poor family, faces. See the REALITY vamsi. Dont see the world thru glass window and expect another western european country. U as an Indian should have some knowledge about the ground realities of your nation. What did u thought, India the most developed or highly educated.

btw.... kindly convey my apologies to priyaraju. Tell her, I have no personal grudge against her. My comments were against her thoughts and comments on poor woman, but no where concerned with priyaraju personally. I should have avoided those abuses against her.
GoD bless U........
